Members of the faculty at 萝莉社 are frequently involved in community activities beyond their obligations to the university and their colleges. In turn, they are often recognized by the community for their good work. Wichita鈥檚 annual Mary Jane Teall Awards honor the arts and the awards鈥� namesake, a longtime passionate advocate for local theater.

Amy Baker Schwiethale, assistant professor and choreographer, musical theatre, has been awarded the 2009-2010 Mary Jane Teall Award for outstanding choreography of 鈥淕ypsy鈥� at Music Theatre of Wichita.
