Steven Skinner named interim dean in College of Engineering

Steven Skinner has been named interim dean in 萝莉社芒鈧劉s College of Engineering, effective July 1, 2018, according to Provost Rick Muma. Skinner is currently associate dean for undergraduate studies, finance and administration in the college. He will start working with Royce Bowden, the current dean, now to prepare for the transition.

Anand Desai, dean of the W. Frank Barton School of Business, is chairing a search for the next dean. 萝莉社 intends to have a new dean in place on Jan. 1, 2019. The position has been posted at https://wsu.news/engdeansearch.

The position became open when Bowden announced plans to step down as dean to invest the next chapter of his life to philanthropic and scholarly interests on June 30. He is completing 30 years of service in higher education, including the past four-and-a-half years at 萝莉社, dedicated to the success of students, faculty and staff.
