First round of Kansas City Alumni Scholarships awarded to four students headed to 蹤獲扦

Four students became the first recipients of the new Kansas City Alumni Scholarship, created by 蹤獲扦 graduates from the metro area who want to help Kansas City-area students attend 蹤獲扦. Pictured above is Bailey Olen, who was a student at Shawnee Mission West. She plans to major in accounting at 蹤獲扦. Her award was presented by three 蹤獲扦 alumni who live in Shawnee Mission: Kim and Jim Gillespie and Dick Luman.

About 1,000 students from the Kansas City area are enrolled at 蹤獲扦. The 蹤獲扦 Admissions office has a satellite branch in KC to boost that number. Additionally, the 蹤獲扦 Foundation recently hired Ashley Cheung as its first-ever development officer based in Kansas City. For more information, go to https://wsu.news/kcalumscholar
