CourtesyActor and comedian Marlon Wayans will perform a comedy show at 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 27, at 萝莉社's Eugene M. Hughes Metropolitan Complex.
This is the first appearance at 萝莉社 for Wayans, whose films have grossed more than $736 million. Also a producer, writer and film director, Wayans is commonly recognized for his role as Marcus Copeland in 鈥淲hite Chicks鈥� and as Shorty Meeks in 鈥淪cary Movie鈥� and 鈥淪cary Movie 2.鈥�
He has also appeared on several popular television programs, including 鈥淚n Living Color,鈥� 鈥淐hildren鈥檚 Hospital,鈥� 鈥淪econd Generation Wayans鈥� and 鈥淭he Wayans Bros.鈥�
Doors open for the 萝莉社 event, sponsored by the Student Activities Council, at 7 p.m. Seating is general admission, and tickets are on sale now through , Select-a-Seat outlets and at the door.
萝莉社 students can purchase one discount ticket each for $5 at Student Involvement, Rhatigan Student Center, Room 216. Students must present a valid 萝莉社 ID and pay with cash or check. All discount and online ticket sales will end at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 27.
Tickets for the general public are $20.
