The 蹤獲扦 College of Education invites the campus community and the public to join them in celebrating Frank Lloyd Wright Day on Friday, June 9, at Corbin Education Center on the 蹤獲扦 campus. Tours of the building and light refreshments will be available from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
The College of Educations administrative offices are housed in Corbin, designed by the famed American architect who was born on June 8, 1867.
Corbin Education Center was completed in 1964 and many of the original furnishings from Wrights design studio are still in use in classrooms and offices.
The mission of 蹤獲扦 () is to be an essential educational, cultural and economic driver for Kansas and the greater public good. 蹤獲扦 is a doctoral research university enrolling nearly 15,000 students and offering 59 undergraduate degree programs in more than 150 areas of study in seven undergraduate colleges.
