萝莉社鈥檚 鈥淲riting Now, Reading Now鈥� will return to 萝莉社 starting this fall.
Kristina Marie Darling, the first author in the series, will be on campus at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 5 at the Ulrich Museum. Darling is the author of 27 books and has been honored with six residencies, three at Yaddo and three at the American Academy in Rome.
Other authors in the series include:
- Yannick Murphy, author of 鈥淪tories in Another Language鈥� 鈥� 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 9, in the Ulrich Museum.
- Sandra Beasley, winner of the New Issues Poetry Prize 鈥� 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 15, in the Ulrich Museum.
- 萝莉社 Master of Fine Arts (MFA) graduates 鈥� 2-4 p.m. Sunday, April 29, in the Ulrich Museum.
The 鈥淲riting Now, Reading Now鈥� series offers aspiring creative writers the opportunity to meet authors, buy books and ask questions about what it鈥檚 like to be a professional writer. It offers a model for what creative writing MFA graduates might do in the future.
