Fans of shoestring fries and lo mein can begin celebrating; Freddy鈥檚 Frozen Custard & Steakburgers and Panda Express are coming to the Rhatigan Student Center at 萝莉社 this fall.

萝莉社 Dining recognized a need for new dining options through guest feedback, satisfaction surveys and student committees.

Through these conversations, a decision was made to replace Mondo Subs and Sono with Panda Express and Freddy鈥檚, the top two brands suggested by students.

鈥溌芾蛏鏰nd Chartwells were able to work together to bring not just one, but both of these brands to campus,鈥� says Jeremy Jefferson, marketing manager for Chartwells. 鈥淲e couldn鈥檛 be more excited.鈥�

Panda Express will offer its full menu, without sushi. This is the first Freddy鈥檚 location on a college campus, so the menu is still being finalized. However, they will absolutely serve frozen custard.

Freddy鈥檚 was founded in Wichita in 2002 and recently opened its 300th restaurant in March 2018.
