Five 萝莉社 Rudd Scholars will be pursuing a degree with the W. Frank Barton School of Business. The Rudd Scholarship, sponsored by the Rudd Foundation, provides each recipient with a full-ride scholarship, including tuition, fees and on-campus housing. Rudd Scholars are also provided with networking and coaching support throughout college.
鈥淭he Rudd Foundation鈥檚 scholarship program is a powerful and transformational opportunity for Kansas high school students,鈥� said Dr. Larisa Genin, Dean of the Barton School of Business. 鈥淭hese students are some of the brightest and most determined individuals our state has to offer.鈥�
The supports Pell Grant-eligible high school students in the state of Kansas and works to help them achieve their long-term goals through grit and determination. The scholarship can be applied toward studies at Emporia State University, Fort Hays State University or 萝莉社. This year, 18 future 萝莉社 students were awarded the Rudd Scholarship. Of those, the following five have chosen to major in business:
- Hayden Hartung - Hesston High School (Accounting major)
- Isabella Killman - Valley Center High School (Marketing major)
- Zain Maknojia - Halstead High School (Accounting major)
- Erik Moreno - Wichita South High School (Finance major)
- Jade Simeona 鈥� Goddard High School (Marketing major)
