Procter & Gamble Executive Joins Barton School Dean鈥檚 Advisory Board

The W. Frank Barton School of Business at 萝莉社has announced that Tadd Fowler, Senior Vice President, Treasurer and Global Taxes at The Procter & Gamble Company, joined the Barton School Dean鈥檚 Advisory Board.

鈥淎s an alumnus of the Barton School, seeing the strides of innovation coming out of school is impressive,鈥 said Fowler. 鈥淚鈥檓 looking forward to making further impact on the college.鈥

Tadd joined P&G in 2005, and currently has responsibility for all Global Treasury and Tax matters for the company.  P&G鈥檚 Global Treasury organization manages global liquidity, capital markets, financial risk management, pensions and insurance. P&G鈥檚 Global Tax Organization manages P&G鈥檚 global tax and trade policy efforts, tax planning, tax controversy  and compliance with P&G鈥檚 total global tax contribution approximating $10 billion annually.

鈥淭he magnitude of Tadd鈥檚 expertise as a top executive of a global consumer brand will be imperative for our student experience as we continue to innovate curriculum,鈥 said Dr. Larisa Genin, Dean of the Barton School of Business.

Prior to joining P&G, Fowler was a partner with PwC where he advised clients on international tax matters as well as mergers and acquisitions. He also spent time with General Electric early in his career.

Fowler received his bachelor鈥檚 degree in Accounting from the Barton School in December 1990 and is a Certified Public Accountant. He is married to wife, Susie, who is also a Barton School of Business graduate, and has two sons, Drue and Brett.
