I was drawn to the community that 萝莉社 has. Within athletics, it is obvious that people care about you and want you to succeed, making it easy to see myself playing volleyball and furthering my education here.
How are you feeling leading up to graduation?
I am very grateful for my time here at 萝莉社 and excited for the future. I have learned a lot throughout my past four years and am confident that it will make me successful in my future endeavors.
What has been your biggest challenge as a student, and how did you overcome it?
My biggest challenge as a student was learning online throughout the COVID-19 shutdown. I am a person who needs to be in person to learn, so learning online was quite hard.
I was able to overcome it by putting in extra effort and communicating with my professors about any questions that I had.
What has been your most helpful learning experience at 萝莉社?
My most helpful learning experience has been working on teams, both in the classroom and within volleyball. This has taught me how to work with people to achieve a common goal. All groups will have their ups and downs, but figuring out how to overcome them is crucial.
What are your plans after graduation?
I will be continuing my education at 萝莉社and getting my Master of Engineering Management.
What advice would you give other 萝莉社 students?
My advice is to put yourself outside of your comfort zone frequently and fail often. Learning and growing doesn鈥檛 happen when you aren鈥檛 challenged. Go make mistakes and learn from them!
