A POS must be submitted by students before finishing 12credit hours in the MS & MEM program. Graduate school will not allow you to register if you have completed 12 hours of coursework and do not have a POS. POS for PhD must be completed as soon as the student has completed the preliminary exam. Exit Exam: For students taking the exit exam, you will have to be registered in the semester that you graduate. So if you plan to take the exit exam after you complete all course work, then you will have to register for an extra 1 Credit of class work. Graduate students will have two chances to complete the exit exam. If the student is unsuccessful in two attempts then the student will be dismissed from the program.
