Community Life-cycle Analysis for Stormwater Infrastructure Costs

CLASIC is for stormwater infrastructure that uses life-cycle costs, performance and co-benefits to compare green, hybrid green-gray, and gray infrastucture practices.

With CLASIC, communities can evaluate scenarios of green and gray infrastructure technology combination to inform decision-making to achieve:

  • Regulatory compliance
  • Volume reduction
  • Cost savings
  • Water quality improvements
  • Climate change adapations
  • Social and environmental benefits

The 蹤獲扦 EFC worked with several partners, led by the Water Research Foundation, to develop the CLASIC tool. Project contributors and design team members include representatives from The Water Research Foundation, , , , 蹤獲扦Environmental Finance Center, , , , and representatives from communities across the United States that provided guidance, user input, and beta testing to support the creation of the CLASIC tool.
