MajorFrench

's Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Modern and Classical Languages and Literatures (MCLL)—French specialization—combines a full range of language study with the option for you to also become a qualified French teacher in PreK-12 through the College of Applied Studies.

Curriculum

The major consists of 30 credit hours beyond the FREN 210 level. It is strongly recommended that students specializing in French take courses in related fields such as other foreign languages, art history, English, history and philosophy.

 If you choose to pursue the teacher-education option, you should contact the MCLL French division director.
