MajorPhilosophy - Pre-Law

A Bachelor of Arts (BA) in philosophy with a concentration in pre-law helps students prepare for law school and a variety of other careers that include roles in adjudication, compliance, policy making and promoting social justice. Coursework is concentrated in four areas of study: analytical reasoning, ethics, political and social philosophy, and philosophy of law. Together these courses provide both a rich theoretical context for understanding the aims and methods of law, normative systems, and action guidance, as well as written and verbal practice developing argumentation and advocacy skills.
