Applied learning at 萝莉社

At 萝莉社, applied learning is everything. In fact, every degree we offer has a guaranteed applied learning or research experience built right into it equipping you with the relevant skills and experience to make you workforce ready before graduation.

Admission to the program

Applicants must have:

  • A bachelor鈥檚 degree from regionally accredited institution
  • A minimum 3.0 GPA in the last 60 semester credit hours; 3.0 GPA in prerequisite courses; and 3.0 overall GPA
  • Completed prerequisites by the spring prior to starting the program in the summer

Inside the Program

Collaborative project builds cars for children with disabilities

Put your classroom knowledge to work in the real world and make a difference in children's lives through 萝莉社 GoBabyGo. In the program, PT students collaborate with engineering students and community partners to modify off-the-shelf toy ride-on cars for children with disabilities. GoBabyGo is a valuable applied learning experience that allows students to work with children and families, design and select materials, learn new tools, troubleshoot, and work in multidisciplinary teams.

Curriculum

The DPT program is located at 萝莉社鈥檚 Old Town campus. It starts in the summer, requires 33 consecutive months of full-time study and lasts nine semesters.

The DPT program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
