Exit Counseling
If you have dropped below half-time enrollment, withdrawn (either officially or unofficially),
discontinued enrollment, or graduated at 蹤獲扦 and have received a Subsidized,
Unsubsidized, or PLUS Loan under the Direct Loan Program or the FFEL Program, or received
a TEACH Grant, you must complete Exit Counseling.
What is Exit Counseling?
Exit Counseling is an online program that provides information for loan repayment options, deferment, forbearance, discharge, consolidation, the consequences of default, and sample loan repayment amounts.
How Do I Complete Exit Counseling?

- If you borrowed Direct Loans: Select "Loan Repayment" at the top of the page, then "Loan Exit Counseling."
- If you received the TEACH Grant: Select "Loans and Grants" at the top of the page, then "TEACH Grants." On the next page, locate the section titled "TEACH Grant Exit Counseling" and click "Get Started."
