Three Fun and Embarrassing Shocker Stories From Freshman Year

It is natural to be anxious about something new. College is no different.

Freshman year can bring on many new and exciting changes and even some funny stories. We asked a few of our current Shockers to tell us about an embarrassing moment from their first year at 蹤獲扦.

Brooke Guy, a strategic communication senior from Topeka, shares why you should keep a nice pair of shoes by your door in the dorms. Why would this be important you ask? Watch and see!

Dimitri Seneviratne, product design junior from Wichita, has a story reminding us that you should always read the class syllabus. Otherwise, you might miss an important date.

Ambrosia Naramore-Winfrey, a social work senior from Lawrence, learned the importance of knowing where the fans are in your kitchen or dorm room. This comes in handy if you happen to make the microwavable macaroni and cheese, but forget to add the water (hey, its happened!).

Hopefully these funny and embarrassing stories have put you more at ease about starting college. As Dimitri said Go out, have fun, and take it easy. Just go with the flow.
