M. D. 鈥淢ike鈥� Michaelis, of Wichita, is the Chairman offamily-owned Emprise Financial Corporation. Mike received a bachelor鈥檚 degree in business administration in 1968 and a master鈥檚 degree in finance in 1969, both from the University of Kansas. Well-known as a Kansas art collector, Mike is known for fostering a vibrant art community. Over the last 50 years, he has amassed the largest collection of Kansas art in the world. Much is displayed at Emprise鈥檚 statewide network of banks.
