is an accomplished global leader with deep experience in a broad range of industries encompassing energy, banking, start-ups, retail, health care and more. She is senior advisor to and an independent consultant whose clients include Ariete Hospitality Group, and Delicious Snacks.

While senior consultant for , Berlin developed strategies for global expansion into Africa, the Middle East and Asia, and strategic initiatives for alternative energy products.

She was previously senior managing director for Helm Holdings International, responsible for strategy, risk management and legal oversight for a group of companies, each established as individual corporations. Berlin served as an internal advisory board member for Helm Group companies operating in the U.S., South America, Latin America and the Caribbean, while also helping the energy business secure new markets in the Middle East and Africa.  

Prior to Helm, she was a partner at the international law firm of , serving in diverse roles over her 26 years with the firm, including bank finance, bankruptcy, human resources, insurance and philanthropy. She represented foreign and domestic clients, particularly in multinational syndicated finance transactions, and delivered expert counsel for diverse financing in the public and private sectors.  

After graduation from law school in 1973, and before joining Shearman & Sterling, Berlin served as legislative assistant for (then) U.S. Sen. Joseph Bidens first year in the U.S. Senate.

Berlin serves on the advisory board of the Widener Global Leaders Program at 蹤獲扦and is a longtime member of the (IWF). She is a lifelong mentor committed to helping women become successful leaders and encouraging them to mentor others along the way.

In 2007, Berlin was a participant in the American Women Leadership Summit in Amman, Jordan, one of only 50 U.S. businesswomen invited by the Department of State, joining 50 other women invitees from the Middle East.

As patient representative on the Supervisory Board of Orange Accountable Care of South Florida from 2016-2018, Berlin represented the interests of thousands of Medicare patients. She was a board member for the Lawyers Alliance for New York in the 1990s, including two years as vice chair.

Berlin served on the board of directors for Birks and Mayors, a NYSE-listed Canadian corporation with luxury retail jewelry operations in the Southeast U.S. (Mayors Jewelers) and throughout Canada.

Berlin earned her Juris Doctor from Columbia Law School, where she also was an editor of the and a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar. She holds a masters degree in art history from Columbia University and earned a bachelors degree in art history from Barnard College.
