Overview
Tyler conducts various trainings for the EFC such as asset management, rates and finances, and water utility board/council trainings. Tyler also provides technical assistance to communities, helping them with asset inventories and asset management plans by working with the Small Communities Assistance Planning (SCAP) tool.
Tyler earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering Technology from 蹤獲扦 University in 2021 with a minor in Geology. While getting his degree he took classes such as water & wastewater engineering, environmental engineering, energy management, hydraulics & hydrology, environmental science, and others that helped him gain an understanding of several environmental topics.
His work experience includes managing the operations and compliance of three industrial wastewater pretreatment plants for Textron Aviation. He also managed the stormwater and spill management plans. Tyler led a water sustainability team and worked with a diverse group of people in order to reduce water usage.
Living in Halstead Kansas, Tyler understands the importance of the sustainability of small systems and the challenges they face. This is one of the many reasons he has a passion for helping small communities achieve their goals.
