Overview
A native Wichitan, James Stepien began his career with Wesley Healthcare in 2005, when he joined the companys Physician Relations and Outreach team. In that position, he developed key relationships with rural hospitals and providers in his efforts to grow Wesleys presence across the State of Kansas.
In 2017, James was promoted to Vice President of Business Development. During his tenure in that position, Wesley continued to grow its market share in Wichita and across Kansas. James provided leadership to a number of growth initiatives, while also taking on operational responsibilities for several clinical service lines. In September 2024, James was named Chief Development Officer in recognition of his continued efforts to grow the Wesley brand.
James attended Kapaun Mt. Carmel High School and graduated from Friends University with a bachelors degree in Business Administration and a masters degree in Health Care Leadership. He enjoys traveling with his wife, Tiffany, and daughter, Sophia, volunteering at their church and pursuing his hobbies, which include golf, reading and going to concerts.
