Master Classrooms
The Master Classroom is the gold standard classroom on campus, enabling faculty to teach in any number of styles, and with the most common media formats used today. While it does take more training and practice, the Master Classroom supports the widest variety in teaching methods. Master Classrooms can be single screen, dualscreen mirrored, dualscreen independent, or any combination with more than two displays.
Standard Features: ADA heightadjustable lectern, resident PC (Windows), BluRay/DVD player, document/demonstration camera, fullsize HDMI cables for users laptop/tablet/phone, etc., wireless presentation (present from laptop/tablet wirelessly), confidence monitor with integrated USB for flash drives, lapel microphone for voice amplification, camera for lecture recording or streaming, and assistive listening system (ALS) for ADA compliance. Also includes projector(s) or display(s) of appropriate size, plus appropriate speaker coverage for voice and video playback, with touchscreen controls. Part of Campus Media Services managed AV system.
Optional Features: audience camera for distance learning applications, additional microphones for online conferencing or panel presentations, digital interactive display (i.e., SMART Board or SMART Podium) for inking activities.
