HOPE Services Advisory Board Prevention Ambassador Program Application

Request a Prevention Ambassadors Presentation

The mission of the Prevention Ambassador Program is to provide an opportunity for 蹤獲扦students to develop leadership, community outreach, and human services skills, while also serving as change agents in promoting health, wellness, and mental health awareness in the 蹤獲扦 community. Ambassadors will be eligible for a zero-credit internship.

Prevention Ambassadors receive training and mentorship in providing prevention and outreach services aimed at decreasing myths about seeking help, empowering and motivating other students to make healthy life changes, and providing information on campus, community, and national services to raise awareness and decrease mental health stigma on campus.

The Prevention Ambassadors will be assisting the HOPE Services Advisory Board in our #蹤獲扦WeSupportU mission of Preventing Suicide, Preventing Sexual Violence, Preventing Substance Misuse/Overuse, and Promoting Wellness in the 蹤獲扦 community.

The HSAB Prevention Ambassador Program is facilitated mainly by Cora Olson, Rachael Gladden, and Dr. Marci Young. During the course of this program ambassadors would have the opportunity to interact with various departments and staff from the 17 蹤獲扦 departments on the PSAB.
