Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the Union Budget 2023-24 in Parliament on February 1.

The ceremony marks the final stage of preparing the Union Budget. The Finance Minister begins the distribution by stirring the ‘halwa’ in the ‘kadhai’ and then serves it to colleagues at the ministry’s headquarters in Delhi.

For the sixth time, she will present the budget for the fiscal year that starts on April 1. Similar to the last two budgets, this one will be presented online

Public will have access to it through a free app that is available on Google Play for Android devices and the Apple App Store for iOS devices.
