Elderly care facility hires stripper to 'entertain' inmates, apologises after strong backlash

The care home paid the strip dancer to perform in celebration of the Mid-Autumn Festival.

A nursing home in Taiwan hired a stripper to arrange an extra-curricular activity for their senior residents drawing huge criticism for the act.

Later, the nursing facility was forced to issue an apology. The facility for retired army personnel in Tawain, reportedly hired an adult entertainer to put up a show for their senior residents in wheelchairs

The nursing home explained the services of the performer were enlisted to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival.

Post this, the nursing home faced a strong backlash from netizens. The facility identified as Taoyuan Veterans Home is a state-run facility for retired army veterans.
