'Titanic' and 'The Omen' actor David Warner dies at 80

David Warner died of cancer-related illness.

David Warner was born on 29th July 1941 in Manchester, England.

He is best known for his roles in the films ‘Cross of Iron’ (1977), ‘Time Bandits’ (1981) and ‘Tron’ (1982).

He has also appeared in television shows such as ‘Doctor Who’, ‘Blake’s 7’ and ‘Chancer’.

In the early 1970s, Warner toured with the Royal Shakespeare Company.

Warner also starred in Hall’s 1968 film of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” opposite Helen Mirren and Diana Rigg.

One of his final film roles was as retired naval officer Admiral Boom in “Mary Poppins Returns,” released in 2018.
