Wellness Center
In January 2020, Student Health Services (SHS) and Counseling and Prevention Services (CAPS) moved into the Student Wellness Center in the new Steve Clark YMCA on the Innovation Campus. Both departments, previously located separately, now share the space for comprehensive student health support.
For SHS, the new location provides almost twice as much treatment space, including additional exam rooms, a larger laboratory, and dedicated triage and procedure rooms. This space and community partnerships is used to provide students with free dental screenings and STI testing. SHS also implement new services for transgender health, hormone replacement, PrEP for HIV prevention, and a hybrid service model for in-person and telehealth appointments.
