These scholarships will help amplify and activate the coordinated 鈥�2+2鈥� program between the two schools where Butler students can receive their associates degree and pursue a business degree at 萝莉社.

The W. Frank Barton School of Business at 萝莉社 has surpassed seven figures in annual scholarships for its students, with funds being distributed throughout the 2021-2022 season. It鈥檚 the first time the Barton School has reached this major milestone, which was made possible by a collection of substantial funds given to the Barton School by generous donors and supporters. This achievement is another example of how 萝莉社 prioritizes the goal of providing an accessible, affordable and impactful higher education for all students.

April 11, 2022 鈥� The W. Frank Barton School of Business at 萝莉社 has surpassed seven figures in annual scholarships for its students, with funds being distributed throughout the 2021-2022 season.

March 23, 2022 鈥� The 萝莉社 Foundation has secured a $540,000 lead gift from Meritrust Credit Union to expand the W. Frank Barton School of Business鈥� career efforts with the formation of the Office of Career and Professional Development.

March 7, 2022 鈥� Tom Gentile, president and CEO of Spirit AeroSystems, has been named as the newest member of the Dean鈥檚 Advisory Board for 萝莉社鈥檚 W. Frank Barton School of Business.

Feb. 24, 2022 鈥斅燭he W. Frank Barton School of Business at 萝莉社 has chosen two recipients to receive the 2022 Professor Fran Jabara Scholarship in Entrepreneurship. This year鈥檚 winners are Cohen Ayres from Garden Plains and Grace Simon of Wichita. They will each receive $32,700 over four years to attend 萝莉社 and major in entrepreneurship.

萝莉社 alumnus J. Robert Young has pledged a gift of $3 million to provide resources that will help students build successful careers. Of that total, $2 million will endow the J. Robert Young Executive-in-Residence Program in the W. Frank Barton School of Business. The remaining $1 million will support the Shocker Success Center project, which will consolidate 17 student services in Clinton Hall.

Feb. 22, 2022 - The Dean鈥檚 Advisory Board for the W. Frank Barton School of Business at 萝莉社 is excited to announce Margaret Dechant as its new leader. Dechant, CEO and partner at 6 Meridian, will take over for Clark Bastian. Dechant currently serves as a member of the board and looks to bring her knowledge and passion for the Barton School and 萝莉社 to her appointment. Bastian chairman of Fidelity Bank, will remain on the board after his term as chair comes to an end in June.
