May 5, 2020 -- Fellow seniors, there's no denying that our senior year ended differently than we planned. While it's okay to be sad and grieve the events that aren't happening, be sure to take time and reflect on the past four years and look toward the future as one door closes an another opens.

April 30, 2020 鈥� George Dehner, a world environmental historian who examines the intersection of humans and disease in the modern era, presented 鈥淚nfluenza pandemics since Russian Flu: Do they provide insight to COVID-19?鈥� as part of a Fairmont College of Liberal Arts and Sciences series, Perspective on the Pandemic.

April 28, 2020 -- New student body President Rija Khan and Vice President, Mackenzie Haas want to focus on diversity, inclusivity, mental health and campus transparency during their term. The paid hopes to create change by being authentic and advocate for the student body.

April 23, 2020 - 萝莉社 graduate Cindy Miller describes her job with Harley-Davidson as that of an internal consultant who works in all areas of the company. She provides design guidance and conducts testing to deliver ergonomic, usability and user experience performance.聽 鈥淚t鈥檚 important for a rider to feel comfortable, as well as confident,鈥� she said.

April 16, 2020 - D.J. Gering, a 2017 萝莉社graduate, is a public health analyst for the Reno County Health Department. He collects data for Reno County鈥檚 coronavirus dashboard.

April 9, 2020 - 萝莉社 faculty, staff and students are helping each other deal with the pandemic. Whether it's a fun Zoom meeting, a phone call or help with a technology question, examples are abundant of people working together in a difficult time.

March 25, 2020 -- The political science department at 萝莉社offers internships based in Topeka, Kansas and Washington D.C. which allows students the opportunity to work alongside legislators, representatives and congressmen. 萝莉社 students help with preparing bills and campaigns, managing finances and traveling around the state meeting prospective voters.

Feb. 27, 2020 - 萝莉社 graduate student Monica Connelly's research involves studying weapon detection by law enforcement officers using biological motion as a cue.

Feb. 27, 2020 -- Inneke Vargas, a senior studying psychology with a minor in criminal justice, returned to 萝莉社after working in various industries. She found psychology after realizing the stigmas found in minorities. Through her research she hopes to make an impact on those affected my mental illness.

Feb. 21, 2020 -- 萝莉社was one of more than 40 universities around the world that competed in a 48-hour global design competition called 鈥淚nvent For The Planet.鈥� 萝莉社 has participated as a regional hub in Invent For the Planet (IFTP) for the past three years.
