Oct. 4, 2023 蹤獲扦has announced the creation of the 蹤獲扦 Retiree Association (蹤獲扦RA), aimed at providing new paths for Shocker faculty and staff retirees to continue active engagement with the university. The new association adds to the existing array of perks available to retirees.

Sept. 21, 2023 The U.S. Small Business Administration awarded $150,000 to 蹤獲扦to assist in providing resources and support for small businesses and startups focused on STEM and research and development.

Sept. 21, 2023 John and Gail Wadsworth have given a lead gift of $1.5 million to 蹤獲扦and Shocker Athletics, earmarked for the Softball Team Operations Facility at Wilkins Stadium. The building is a part of the $9.65 million Phase 1 of the stadium renovation plan, which will begin development in the spring of 2024.

Sept. 19, 2023 - 蹤獲扦 student Denae Sawyer spent the spring semester interning remotely with Dzanc Books. Her work consisted of reading and researching to determine if the manuscript fit Dzancs standards and sensibility. She also evaluated the potential audience and marketing strategies.

Sept. 19, 2023 Through the inaugural Student Practical Architecting Challenge (SPARC), FirePoint Innovations Center at 蹤獲扦awarded nearly $40,000 to two student-based teams for their novel innovations in devising future-ready, modular and adaptable software systems to support the Department of Defense's (DOD) Modular Open Systems Architecture (MOSA) initiative.

Sept. 11, 2023 蹤獲扦is holding a parade next month and is inviting anyone in the community to join in. Starting at 6 p.m. Oct. 6 on the 蹤獲扦 campus, the parade is part of the universitys annual Shocktoberfest celebration.

Its targeted at new, veteran and aspiring teachers and uses superhero archetypes to help educators understand their role, improve their skills and maintain enthusiasm during a challenging time.

Sept. 5, 2023 - 蹤獲扦students designed handrails for Charles Koch Arena and producing around 400 for installation. The applied learning project will make walking up the arena stairs safer for fans and is a response to surveys and listening sessions.
