Feb. 14, 2022 - The W. Frank Barton School of Business at 蹤獲扦has named Jon Rolph, president and CEO of Thrive Restaurant Group and a member of the Kansas Board of Regents, its Executive-in-Residence for the spring 2022 semester.

Feb. 11, 2022 As a young boy growing up in Oklahoma City Nicolas Reyes loved to hear the hum of the fighter jets from the nearby Tinker Air Force Base. Nicolas Reyes a junior studying electrical engineering in 蹤獲扦s Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering has always wanted to work in the aviation industry. He finally got his chance this past summer when he completed a virtual internship with Lockheed Martin. While there, Nicolas worked on the F-35 Lightning II for their location in Fort Worth.

Feb. 9, 2022 A bequest from the estate of Richard "Dick" Smith will provide about $5.5 million each to 蹤獲扦and the University of Kansas to endow full-ride scholarships for students at those schools.

Feb. 4, 2022 Ella Tucker, senior at Epic Charter Schools in Tulsa, Oklahoma, has been awarded the 2022 蹤獲扦Clay Barton Scholarship. She will receive $12,500 a year for four years to attend 蹤獲扦. The $50,000 Barton Scholarship is one of the largest business scholarships in Kansas.

Jan. 28, 2022 蹤獲扦has selected the 2022 recipients of the Harry Gore Memorial Scholarships. Each student will receive a $64,000 scholarship to attend WSU in fall 2022.

GoCreate student

Jan. 26, 2022 - GoCreate is using its equipment and expertise to build form work for the center concrete pier of the Promise Bridge. GoCreate staff and 蹤獲扦 students will machine 30 blocks of foam, each 4 feet by 3 feet by 8 feet, that will be used by Dondlinger Construction.

Jan. 24, 2022 Further expanding its presence as a diverse creative workspace at 蹤獲扦, GoCreate recently began offering free memberships to 蹤獲扦 students.

Jan. 24, 2022 Six 蹤獲扦teams were selected as semi-finalists in the universitys sixth annual Koch Innovation Challenge Angel Round on December 3. Those six teams of 蹤獲扦 students advance to the Grand Champion competition in May.

Jan. 24, 2022 Valeria Paunetto, originally from Puerto Rico, won the Adelante Scholarship in 2021, which has helped her pursue a degree in social work at 蹤獲扦.

14 students have been chosen as finalists in 蹤獲扦's Distinguished Scholarship Invitational.

Jan. 24, 2022 More than 488 students competed in the Distinguished Scholarship Invitational at 蹤獲扦 University. The pool has been narrowed to 14.

Jan. 20, 2022 The Alfred P. Sloan Foundation has awarded a grant of $243,922 to a 蹤獲扦researcher for his work on an app that will allow people who are visually impaired to read comic books, graphic novels and other digitized graphic materials on their devices.
