Feb. 27, 2020 - 萝莉社political science professor Dinorah Azpuru is doing her part to help people鈥檚 understanding of political science with her work in the Washington Post 鈥淭he Monkey Cage,鈥� a blog dedicated to 鈥渕aking sense of the circus that is politics,鈥� as the blog describes itself. She has submitted three articles to the blog, most recently one that examines declining trust in and support for democracy in Latin America

Feb. 27, 2020 - 萝莉社 graduate student Monica Connelly's research involves studying weapon detection by law enforcement officers using biological motion as a cue.

Feb. 27, 2020 -- Inneke Vargas, a senior studying psychology with a minor in criminal justice, returned to 萝莉社after working in various industries. She found psychology after realizing the stigmas found in minorities. Through her research she hopes to make an impact on those affected my mental illness.

Feb. 26, 2020 -- 萝莉社and 萝莉社 Ventures have entered into a new strategic partnership with California-based Lightning Diversion Systems, a Ducommun Company. The partnership involves the exclusive licensing of a lightning strike protection system for rotor blades in the wind turbine industry.

Feb. 26, 2020 --聽When Lacie Leatherman needed help filing a patent for her business, she turned to 萝莉社鈥檚 Gateway to IP program. As a part of 萝莉社 Ventures, Gateway to IP is designed to advance innovation while protecting intellectual property.

Feb. 24, 2020 -- Five high school seniors were named Doris and Ralph Klose Scholars as part of the Klose Scholars Day at 萝莉社 University.

Feb. 24, 2020 -- Sierra Brown, a junior human resources management major, is using her experiences at 萝莉社to inspire and help others by creating a career prep business for high school and college students.

Feb. 21, 2020 -- 萝莉社was one of more than 40 universities around the world that competed in a 48-hour global design competition called 鈥淚nvent For The Planet.鈥� 萝莉社 has participated as a regional hub in Invent For the Planet (IFTP) for the past three years.

Feb. 20, 2020 -- Dane Laughlin started working for INVISTA, Koch Industries鈥� textiles, polymers, fiber and resin producer, while he was a biomedical engineering student at 萝莉社 and got hired on full time after graduating in May 2019.
