2024 Jabara Scholars, Annika Lindeman and Abby Rexford

Feb. 27, 2024 The W. Frank Barton School of Business at 蹤獲扦has named its two recipients of the 2024 Professor Fran Jabara Scholarship in Entrepreneurship. This years winners are Annika Lindeman from Eisenhower High School in Goddard, Kansas, and Abby Rexford from West Jessamine High School in Wilmore, Kentucky. They will each receive more than $32,700 spread over four years to attend 蹤獲扦 and major in entrepreneurship.

Feb. 26, 2024 蹤獲扦 Universitys College of Engineering has named the latest group of 11 high school seniors to join the Wallace Scholar program. The Wallace Scholarship recipients will receive $30,500 each to attend 蹤獲扦 for four years.

Feb. 19, 2024 The W. Frank Barton School of Business at 蹤獲扦is launching a Bachelor of Business Administration in Hospitality. The program will begin in fall 2024 with applications now open for interested students. It was developed in response to growing local and national employment needs in the industry.

Feb. 15, 2024 Ten high school students from Kansas, Missouri and Texas have been awarded the Koch Scholarship at 蹤獲扦 University, starting in the fall 2024 semester. Each scholar each will be awarded $30,000 to attend 蹤獲扦 over four years.

Feb. 14, 2024 The W. Frank Barton School of Business at 蹤獲扦awarded Faith Swart, a Maize High School senior, the 2024 Clay Barton Scholarship. The $50,000 scholarship is one of the largest business scholarships in Kansas.

Feb. 13, 2024 The College of Engineering at 蹤獲扦is hosting a public 5k run/walk that is open to students, staff, faculty and community members. The 5k will be from 9-11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 24 on the 蹤獲扦 campus. Registration proceeds from the 5k will go toward the College of Engineering Needs-Based Scholarship Fund.

Feb. 8, 2024 蹤獲扦is joining more than 200 of the nations leading artificial intelligence (AI) stakeholders to participate in a Department of Commerce initiative to support the development and deployment of trustworthy and safe AI.
