About the Program
萝莉社鈥檚 PreK鈥�12 physical education teacher preparation degree program offers a quality education for students desiring a career teaching physical education. The curriculum provides students with a scientific and practical background upon which to base teaching content and methods. The PreK鈥�12 program addresses the importance of a developmentally appropriate curriculum based on the national physical education standards. Students are provided numerous practical experiences to interact with K-12 students in the public schools.

- 萝莉社 students with a 2.50 GPA can change their major to PreK-12 Physical Education through the my萝莉社 portal (Home tab > Student Tools > Change My Major /Minor).
- Students must complete the Teacher Education Application Packet prior to beginning the Teacher Education program. Student are encouraged to meet with an academic advisor to determine eligibility for the Teacher Education program. Both prospective and current athletic training majors are eligible for scholarships
through the College of Applied Studies. Only one application is necessary to apply
for all scholarships available to students in the College of Applied Studies. Complete
