  1. Description: In the Drivers Test course, robots travel the road completing several tasks (like stopping at crosswalks and parallel parking) along the way. Complete the course to show that you deserve that Robot Drivers License!

Build Instructions:

    1. Cut the plywood into 翻 x 4 ft x 6 ft, leaving a 翻 x 2 ft x 4 ft plywood extra.
    2. Use the 翻 x 2ft x 8 ft plywood and cut and paint into the following size and color.
    3. Use a pencil to draw the outline of the course: (refer figure 1)
    4. Then paint those area with respective color mentioned in (figure 1) the color result will look like figure 2.
    5. Then stick those walls you trimmed from step II according to figure 2, the end result should look like figure 4.
    6. Finally paint a 職 thick white line in the middle of the black road like in figure 5 and you course is complete.

DMV

Bot must start completely behind Checkpoint A (the Department of Motor Vehicles Lot).

During the Driving Test, the robot may never leave the road.  This is defined as all robot touchpoints being outside of the road (black) except in the cul-de-sac.  If the robot leaves the road, the test will end and no more points can be earned.

 

B

Crosswalk 1

Bot must come to a complete stop behind the crosswalk for at least 1 second. (No part of the bot can have touched the yellow line.)

Bot must come to a complete stop behind the crosswalk for at least 1 second. (No part of the bot can have touched the yellow line.)

Parking Lot

Bot must park in Space 1 (to its right). Successful parking requires the entire bot to be within the space (not touching any walls and completely across the checkpoint line) and stopped for at least 2 seconds.
