Through the generous support of our 萝莉社 donors, we are proud to offer these scholarship opportunities to students in Shocker Nation. 萝莉社, together with it's foundation, academic colleges, departments, and organizations, provides over $30 million in scholarships annually!

Log in with your my萝莉社 ID and password, set up your profile by answering questions about yourself, and begin matching to scholarships. Complete the New/Continuing Student Application between November 1 and March 1 each year for full scholarship consideration!

Academic College Scholarships

萝莉社's academic colleges award over $5 million of available scholarships annually, and most scholarship support for current/continuing students is provided through the academic colleges. These scholarships are made possible thanks to generosity of our gracious donors. Questions about specific college scholarships should be directed to the college鈥檚 scholarship coordinator.

Applied Studies Scholarships

College of Applied Studies

The College of Applied Studies annually awards nearly $600,000 in both merit-based and need-based scholarships to nearly 200 students the opportunity to continue their studies in the fields of counseling, educational leadership, education and school psychology, curriculum and instruction, human performance studies and sport management.

The College of Engineering awards nearly $1 million each year in both merit-based and need-based scholarships to over 240 engineering and computing students as they pursue their degrees at 萝莉社.

Fine Arts Scholarships

College of Fine Arts

Over 300 students receive a combined $1 million in scholarships from the College of Fine Arts annually. As students go through audition/portfolio review, they are automatically considered for scholarship funding. It is important to apply early for full consideration! Much of the college-specific funding is determined by March 15 each year.

Honors Scholarships

Dorothy and Bill Cohen Honors College

The Cohen Honors College annually awards nearly $450,000 in scholarships to incoming and current students. Additionally, the Cohen Enhancement Scholarship of up to $4000 supports approximately 25 current Honors students each year to pursue enrichment activities such as study abroad, National Student Exchange, internships in the public sector, national conferences, undergraduate research, or service-learning.

Freshmen

Distinguished Scholarship Invitational (Freshmen)
A variety of scholarships are awarded to incoming freshmen DSI participants, including three $64,000 Harry Gore Memorial Scholarships - three of the largest scholarships in Kansas!
Scholarship Competitions (Freshmen)
Each year a variety of scholarships are awarded to competition participants. Some competitions are specific to students' majors or colleges, while others may have non-academic criteria.
Freshmen Merit & Incoming Student Scholarships (Freshmen)
萝莉社 offers a variety of scholarships for new, admitted incoming freshmen (coming directly from high school).
Shocker Promise Scholarships (Freshmen)
萝莉社 shows its commitment to offer a quality, affordable education to incoming freshmen who come from limited-income families in Kansas through the Shocker Promise Scholarships. These awards provide last-dollar funding to high school graduates from Kansas.

Transfer

Phi Theta Kappa All-Kansas Academic Team Scholarship (Transfer Students)
The PTK Scholarship provides a one-year award of $1,000 for named PTK All-Kansas Academic Team Members, first-time, full-time transfer with a minimum overall transfer GPA of 3.25.
Transfer Merit Scholarships (Transfer Students)
萝莉社 offers a variety of scholarships for new, admitted transfer students (coming directly from another college or university).

For both new and current students

Academic College Scholarships
Collectively, the academic colleges of 萝莉社award more than $5 million of available scholarships annually. Each college has its own application process and deadline.
Scholarship applications for the Kurt Budke Scholarship are accepted through March 1 by the Greater Salina Community Foundation. The Scholarship was formed in memory of Kurt Budke. Kurt was born on June 3rd 1961 in Salina, Kansas. He grew up playing all sports. At the completion of high school he was offered a scholarship to play basketball at Barton County Community College. He played his final 2 years of collegiate basketball at Washburn University. He started his coaching career at Friends University while attaining his Master's Degree at 萝莉社 University. He coached at Kansas City Kansas Community College, Allen County Community College and Trinity Valley Community College before accepting a coaching position at Louisiana Tech University. In 2005 he became the head coach at Oklahoma State University. On November 17, 2011 he was killed in a plane crash while on a recruiting trip.
Legacy Tuition Waiver
Designed for Non-resident students paying non-resident tuition rates whose parent, step-parent, legal guardian, grandparent or step-grandparent graduated from 萝莉社 with an associate, bachelor, master, or doctoral degree.

State of Kansas Scholarships
The State of Kansas offers a variety of state-funded grants and scholarships through the Kansas Board of Regents. For more information on , contact the Kansas Board of Regents.
Tuition Discounts & Waiver Programs
萝莉社 is a great value for students in neighboring states and beyond. Programs include Shocker City, Shocker Select, Midwest Student Exchange Program, Shocker Legacy, Veterans/Active Duty Military, and Global Select.
Zach's Wishes for Miracles is a non-profit organization honoring the life of Zachary W. Mesch-- a 萝莉社 student, Sigma Phi Epsilon member, and WU himself. We are committed to fighting the good fight one day at a time, providing "miracles" to youth ages 18-23 years old battling cancer and supporting the dreams of 萝莉社 students by providing scholarships annually. The organization will award a one-time, $500 scholarship to one incoming or current undergraduate or graduate student.
