Mission Statement
MCJIs key role is to supply training, technical assistance to law enforcement, program evaluation, outcome assessment on criminal justice issues, and strategic crime reduction consulting throughout the State of Kansas, the Midwest Region, and the United States. The MCJI is also actively engaged in researching issues and problems facing law enforcement and the community throughout the State of Kansas. Its ability to deliver progressive and innovative training has led to numerous successful outcomes. Additionally, the MCJI has worked collaboratively with several federal, state, local, and community agencies on numerous projects, evaluations, and research.
