Mindfulness

Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is a scientifically supported approach that combines mindful meditation and movement to address stress, pain, and illness. By engaging in MBSR practices, university staff can learn to cultivate a greater awareness of the present moment, leading to improved mental clarity, reduced stress levels, and enhanced overall well-being. Mindfulness helps people appreciate the value of the present moment. In-person, online, and recorded MBSR meditations are now being offered through the Office of Instructional Resources to support the wellness of all university staff and instructors as well as our industry partners on the Innovation Campus.
