Types of Massages Offered
- Deep Tissue: Utilizes slow, firm pressure to reach the deepest layers of muscles and connective tissues, effectively releasing tight muscles. Benefits include stress relief, pain reduction, and muscle rehabilitation.
- Sports: Ideal for pre- or post-sport treatment, this massage warms muscles, reduces lactic acid, and increases range of motion. It applies firmer pressure and targets muscles and deep connective tissue. Stretching may be incorporated to aid recovery, enhance flexibility, and prevent future injuries.
- Swedish: The most common type of massage, designed to release muscle tension and promote relaxation and stress relief. It involves soft, kneading strokes and light, rhythmic tapping on the upper layers of muscles, and can be combined with joint movements to relieve muscle tension.
- Therapeutic: A standard Swedish massage with added deep-tissue techniques in trouble areas.
Massage Add-ons
- Hot Stone: This therapy uses heated stones placed on the body to warm and relax muscles, allowing the therapist to provide deeper pressure without discomfort.
