The Cultural Greek Council (CGC) is the governing body and policy-making organization of the six (6) culturally based social fraternities and sororities at 蹤獲扦. CGC's chief purpose is to coordinate the effort of the individual fraternities and sororities in matters of service, scholarship, brotherhood/sisterhood, leadership and academic excellence.
CGC Membership
At 蹤獲扦, the Cultural Greek Council is comprised of historically Asian, Hispanic/Latino, and Muslim culturally-based chapters. CGC chapters strive to create an intimate and close brotherhood and sisterhood among its members. While our chapters celebrate history and culture, anyone is welcome to join!
CGC fraternities and sororities do not hold a formal recruitment as a council. Instead, each chapter holds something called Membership Intake. This is an individualized process that vary by organization and may take place in either the fall or spring semester. The Membership Intake process generally begins with an interest meeting, followed by a period of membership education, and concludes with a new member reveal that is open to the campus community, family, and friends.
To obtain more information about these fraternities and sororities and how to join, reach out to the individual chapter with the information below or contact greeklife@wichita.edu
