With an extensive background in communication, development, and mentorship, Crowley brings a wealth of experience and a passion for empowering individuals to her new role.

March 22, 2024 - Shielding the Earth from the sun seems like a good idea, in theory, to fight climate change, 萝莉社 University鈥檚 Dr. Nickolas Solomey and graduate student Kelly Kabler agree. Solomey and Kabler, though, aren鈥檛 so sure that the popular idea of protecting the planet with a sunshade is as simple as some propose.

For Darren DeFrain, associate professor of English and director of the writing program, research is all about finding the narrative. Take, for example, graphic novels, a subject of DeFrain鈥檚 research for some ten years.

The W. Frank Barton School of Business at 萝莉社proudly announces Tadd Fowler as its Spring 2024 Executive-in-Residence. He currently holds the position of Senior Vice President at The Procter & Gamble Company (P&G). In his role as Executive-in-Residence, Fowler will deliver a dynamic keynote presentation open to the public, conduct mentoring sessions for students, deliver guest lectures, participate in meetings with Barton School leadership to discuss program and curriculum innovations, as well as engage in various other activities.

March 6, 2024 鈥� Ava Wilkie, senior at Wichita East High School, is the winner of the 2024 Lenora N. McGregor Endowed Scholarship at 萝莉社 University.

March 6, 2024 鈥� Four undergraduate students from 萝莉社were among the 18 students recognized at the 22nd annual Kansas IDeA Network of Biomedical Research Excellence (K-INBRE) Symposium in Manhattan, Kansas.

Matt Howland, assistant professor of anthropology and archaeology, is using Geographic Information Systems software to model how such coastal change and damage could occur. GIS is used to record, store, analyze, visualize, and interpret geographic data, and has become an important technological tool for archaeologists, particularly in determining changes across landscapes.

Feb. 29, 2024 鈥� The College of Applied Studies at 萝莉社has appointed four distinguished professionals to its Dean's Advisory Board. They are Alicia Sanchez, Amy Williams, Ed O'Malley and Kyle Ellison.

The W. Frank Barton School of Business at 萝莉社has installed a new art exhibit in partnership with the Envision Arts Program. Gretchen Howarth is the latest visually impaired artist to be showcased on the third floor of the Barton School.

The Collegiate DECA chapter at 萝莉社continues to showcase the remarkable talent of its students. DECA, an international association connecting students to business and professional development opportunities, saw the 萝莉社 team compete in a statewide competition in Hillsboro, KS on February 23rd. Eight 萝莉社 students won eleven medals qualifying them for the upcoming national competition in Austin, Texas, from April 20th to 23rd.

Feb. 27, 2024 鈥� The W. Frank Barton School of Business at 萝莉社has named its two recipients of the 2024 Professor Fran Jabara Scholarship in Entrepreneurship. This year鈥檚 winners are Annika Lindeman from Eisenhower High School in Goddard, Kansas, and Abby Rexford from West Jessamine High School in Wilmore, Kentucky. They will each receive more than $32,700 spread over four years to attend 萝莉社 and major in entrepreneurship.

Feb. 26, 2024 鈥� 萝莉社 University鈥檚 College of Engineering has named the latest group of 11 high school seniors to join the Wallace Scholar program. The Wallace Scholarship recipients will receive $30,500 each to attend 萝莉社 for four years.

In a historic moment for 萝莉社 University, the 萝莉社 Concert Chorale is set to make its mark at the Southwestern Region American Choral Directors Association (ACDA) Convention in Denver, CO., on Saturday, March 2. This significant achievement marks the first time in 30 years that 萝莉社 will be represented at an ACDA event.
