Any instructor who would like to use the PC Labs will need to contact the SSRL staff.  If space is available, the staff will schedule your request in our PC Lab calendar.  If your request is for the semester, after approval from SSRL staff, you will need to send a request to Schedule Builder for a room change.  The Registrar's Office does not schedule our labs unless they have prior approval from our office.                                                                  

Use of PC Labs

  • No food or drink allowed in the computer labs.
  • Users will sign in to the computers using their 蹤獲扦ID and password. Make sure you sign out once you are done.
  • Microsoft Office, SPSS/AMOS, R Studio, Acrobat Reader, and Google Chrome/Edge are available on the computers.  There is a network printer available for use.  Papercut software is installed for printing charges.
  • It is the instructors responsibility to teach the students how to use the software needed for the class and guidelines for the lab.
  • Please do not save files or data on the computers.  You can save files in Blackboard or on a usb drive.
  • Projectors in the labs are connected to the instructor's PC.
  • If any special equipment will be needed for your class, please check with the SSRL staff to see if that equipment is available. If not, then instructor will need to make an arrangement with Media Resource Center to deliver the equipment to 429 LH.
  • The SSRL staff will assist with computer problems and basic questions. Course related questions or questions on how to use the software will need to be directed to the instructor.

The SSRL has a lost and found box in case items are left behind.  The SSRL is not responsible for ANYTHING lost.
