The 萝莉社 Musical Theatre Program was honored to host award winning Broadway Composer
Andrew Lippa in May 2015.
Lippa wrote the music and lyrics for Big Fish, which was staged by Music Theatre Wichita in July 2015, and included 萝莉社's own Emily Vargo and Aaron Craven in the supporting cast, alum Madelynn Nevins as Assistant Lighting Designer and faculty David Neville as the Lighting Designer.
Music Theatre students were thrilled to be able to learn from him in Master Classes during his visit at 萝莉社. In 2007, the School of Performing Arts Musical Theatre program staged, The Wild Party, (book, music, and lyrics written by Lippa, based on the poem by Joseph Moncure March).
