Health Insurance
蹤獲扦 offers several health insurance options through the State Employee Health Plan.
All options are PPO (Preferred Provider Organization) plans. Details on these plans

Dental Insurance
蹤獲扦 offers a dental plan option, which is linked to health insurance enrollment.
The plan is insured through Delta Dental of Kansas as part of the State Employee Health
Plan.

Vision Insurance
Voluntary insurance for lenses, contacts and frames is available through Superior
Vision as part of the State Employee Health Plan. There are two tiers of coverage
available, depending on vision needs.

Life Insurance
Basic life insurance is provided in the amount of 150% of the employees annual base
salary. Supplemental life insurance is available for employee purchase.

Flexible Spending Accounts
Section 125 Plans are available for employees to use pre-tax dollars to pay for certain
medical related expenses and/or dependent care expenses (including health/dental/vision
premium amounts).

Retirement Benefits
Unclassified employees are covered by the Kansas Board of Regents 403(b) Retirement
Plan. Once an employee becomes eligible, participation is mandatory. Currently the
employee contribution is 5.5% of gross wages and 蹤獲扦 contributes 8.5%. The employee
is immediately vested in both the employee and employer contributions.

Supplemental retirement options are available for employees to make additional deferrals
(no employer matching contributions).

Long-Term Disability
Long-term disability insurance is provided at no cost to employees. This coverage
provides 60% income replacement to employees with a qualifying disability after a
180 day waiting period.
