May 19, 2023 鈥� Marie Bukowski has been named the next dean of 萝莉社 University鈥檚 College of Fine Arts, effective July 9, 2023.

May 18, 2023 - Dean Rodney Miller will retire in June following 19 years leading the College of Fine Arts at 萝莉社 University. During his tenure, the School of Digital Arts was created and enrollment in the college has grown to over 1,000 students.

May 9, 2023 鈥� Shocker graduate Alissa Haddock has spent her whole life battling liver disease. Now she has a 萝莉社 diploma and a new liver to help her start the next phase of her life.

April 25, 2023 - John Kirk returned to college at 萝莉社to study vocal music and dive into activities. He served as Student Body President and came to appreciate the caring atmosphere at 萝莉社. April 21, 2023 鈥� Angel Dao used her time at 萝莉社 to develop professionally and make connections within the industry she plans to pursue while finding time to care of her mental health.

March 30, 2023 - 萝莉社students use the editing suite at Shocker Studios for their video projects. The studio features theater lighting and seating, a 4K digital cinema compliant projector and a 200-inch screen. 鈥淣o one else has this, certainly no one in the Midwest,鈥� said Justin Rorabaugh, director of Shocker Studios.

Feb. 27, 2023 鈥� The classic sit-com set 鈥� think anything from 鈥淚 Love Lucy鈥� to 鈥淪einfeld鈥� to 鈥淭he Big Bang Theory鈥� 鈥� is now a teaching tool at 萝莉社 University鈥檚 Shocker Studios.

Jan. 23, 2023 鈥� A recent "PBS News Hour鈥� story highlights the role 萝莉社plays in the arts community of Wichita. 鈥溌芾蛏� has a hand in almost every arts entity in the Wichita metropolitan area, from the symphony to the art museum,鈥� said Dr. Rodney Miller, dean of the College of Fine Arts.

Dec. 15, 2022 鈥� Betty and Art Wood shared a passion for music throughout their lives, and their legacy of supporting the arts continues through their gift of $1 million from their estate to support the Music Associates Endowed Fund at 萝莉社.

June 10, 2022 -- Tiahna Padilla is a senior majoring in computer engineering and an animation. She is currently utilizing her skills as an intern at Textron Aviation as an IT business analyst.
