May 5, 2022 鈥� Lydia Humphreys is a graduate advisor at ShiftSpace Gallery, a student-run art gallery in downtown Wichita. Her experiences there played an important role in her education and time at 萝莉社. Lydia is one of more than 2,400 students eligible for spring 2022 graduation. Jan. 24, 2022 鈥� Further expanding its presence as a diverse creative workspace at 萝莉社, GoCreate recently began offering free memberships to 萝莉社 students.

Dec. 8, 2021 - The second phase of renovations is close to complete on 萝莉社鈥檚 Henrion Hall, the 100-year-old building that houses 萝莉社鈥檚 studio arts. This recent renovation affects the first-floor north side of the building, where the sculpture department conducts most of its casting processes. Updates include new ventilation and air conditioning, as well as improved accessibility and functionality of workspaces.

Nov. 23, 2021 鈥� After 17 years, the Madrigal Singers of 萝莉社 will host an Elizabethan-themed dinner and music program at 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 3 at the Rhatigan Student Center Beggs Ballroom.

Sept. 22, 2021 鈥� What started as one woman鈥檚 passion project has flourished into a literacy empire that serves thousands of children in schools across the Wichita area 鈥� helped along the way by the people and services of 萝莉社.

Sept. 17, 2021 鈥� The first cohort of the Widener Global Leaders Program will consist of 10 women from the Barton School of Business, the Elliott School of Communication in Fairmount College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, and the School of Music in the College of Fine Arts.

June 29, 2021 -- An opening reception for "From Lima to Wichita: Intercultural Dialogues in Clothing & Paint" will take place from 6鈥�9 p.m. July 2, at ShiftSpace, 萝莉社鈥檚 student-run gallery, as part of Wichita鈥檚 First Friday gallery crawl.

June 16, 2021 鈥� Shaunte鈥� Levine is the recipient of the fourth annual Launch Award through Harvester Arts and the 萝莉社 School of Art, Design and Creative Industries (ADCI).

June 8, 2021 - Karla Burns鈥� legacy of music and drama is one of 萝莉社鈥檚 most prominent contributions to the performing arts. Burns, 66, died June 4 in Wichita. She attended Dunbar Elementary School and graduated from West High School. At 萝莉社, she earned bachelor鈥檚 degrees in music education and in speech/theater, both in 1981.

May 13, 2021 鈥� Whether their goal is to be Gollum in 鈥淟ord of the Rings鈥� or a character in the next version of 鈥淐all of Duty,鈥� 萝莉社 students now have the option to specialize in motion-capture acting through a new concentration within the School of Digital Arts.
