Feb. 10, 2020 - 萝莉社 Assistant Professor of Trumpet David Hunsicker partnered with 萝莉社's National Institute for Aviation Research (NIAR) and 萝莉社 Ventures to create the Gapper, a flexible plastic device that helps musicians control the third valve slide on the trumpet.

Feb. 3, 2020 --听Levente Sulyok, associate professor of painting and drawing in the School of Art, Design and Creative Industries, installed two temporary, dynamic sculptures on 萝莉社鈥檚 Innovation Campus.听

Dec. 9, 2019 --听Five teams of 萝莉社 students emerged as finalists in the Koch Innovation Challenge, held Dec. 6.

Dec. 6, 2019 -- Texas native Michaela Marioni moved to Wichita when her husband was stationed at McConnell Air Force Base in 2015, and she decided to enroll at 萝莉社. Originally a veterinarian medicine major, Michaela discovered her talent for video editing in a class and pursued it with a passion to her graduation this month.

Dec. 5, 2019 -- A class project brought color to the sky above Wichita 鈥� and helped one student land a job.

Nov. 26, 2019 -- Nathan Light, a senior studying video production at 萝莉社, spent his summer creating a documentary over the slapstick comedy film, King Kung Fu. The filming process taught Nathan the ins and outs of video production, editing and seeing his vision come to life.

Nov. 20, 2019 -- Two years after the successful launch of 萝莉社鈥檚 Bachelor of Applied Arts (BAA) in Media Arts program, the university has created the new School of Digital Arts.

Nov. 8, 2019 -- The 萝莉社 Opera Theater and the 萝莉社 Symphony Wind Ensemble will present the North American premiere of 鈥淭he Path to Heaven鈥� later this month. Showtimes are 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 15, and at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 17, in Miller Concert Hall, Duerksen Fine Arts Center.

Oct. 21, 2019 -Callista Owens, a junior majoring in violin performance and music education, received financial support from a generous donor which allowed her to continue her education at 萝莉社.

Sept. 19, 2019 - William Flynn, assistant professor of guitar at 萝莉社, recently won the Excellence in Creative Activity Award, which recognizes faculty members who have established an exemplary record of creative activity that has brought recognition to the university.
