Aug. 28, 2023 Through the 蹤獲扦chapter of Engineers without Borders, three Shockers recently began the process of working with the rural community of Mercedes de Agua Sucia in Manabi, Ecuador, to build a pedestrian bridge that will give residents safe passage to the main road and nearby cities to sell the goods and products from their farms, shop in nearby El Carmen, and for children to attend school.

July 11, 2023 The Accessible Design course concerned 蹤獲扦junior Reagan Kelley at first. She wasnt an engineering major and wasnt sure what she could contribute. The payoff at the end of the project made it worthwhile. Kelley, an exercise science major, and three other students modified an all-terrain wheelchair for a nine-year-old boy who outgrew the chairs previous dimensions.
