March 17, 2023 鈥� Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Director Steven Dettelbach and Senator Jerry Moran recently visited 萝莉社to announce plans for a unique new National Forensic Laboratory at 萝莉社. The forensic laboratory is a new $75 million facility that will complement the Gun Crime Intelligence Center of Excellence and National Integrated Ballistic Information Network Correlation and Training Center, which were announced last summer.

March 16, 2023 鈥� 萝莉社 Tech President and Vice President of Workforce Development at 萝莉社Dr. Sheree Utash testified before the U.S. Senate鈥檚 Commerce Committee on Aviation on Thursday about the growth of the aviation industry and the increasing demand for highly skilled aviation workers.

The W. Frank Barton School of Business at 萝莉社has announced Susan Thomas, founder and CEO of , will serve as the college鈥檚 Entrepreneur-in-Residence for the Spring 2023 semester. Thomas is from Newton, KS and began her college education at 萝莉社. She founded 10Fold in 1995 and the company is now ranked among the top eight percent of independently owned communications firms exclusively focused on business-to-business technology in the U.S. (IBISWorld, 2020).

Feb. 27, 2023 鈥� The classic sit-com set 鈥� think anything from 鈥淚 Love Lucy鈥� to 鈥淪einfeld鈥� to 鈥淭he Big Bang Theory鈥� 鈥� is now a teaching tool at 萝莉社 University鈥檚 Shocker Studios.

Feb. 24, 2023 - The Dockum Drug Store sit-in of 1958 attracted new attention in 2021 during Black History Month, in part thanks to NBC鈥檚 鈥淭oday鈥� and Wichita native Sheinelle Jones. Several University of Wichita students participated in the sit-in, which is increasingly recognized as a landmark event in the Civil Rights Movement. NBC鈥檚 鈥淭oday鈥� featured the events in a 2021 broadcast.

Feb. 22, 2023 鈥� The W. Frank Barton School of Business at 萝莉社has awarded Isabella (Bella) Kilman, a Valley Center High School senior, the 2023 Clay Barton Scholarship. The $50,000 scholarship is one of the largest business scholarships in Kansas.

With four new tenants 鈥� Sesame Mediterranean Kitchen, Jersey Mike鈥檚, Two Hands Corn Dogs and Pedego Wichita 鈥� the shopping center is fully occupied and fast becoming a hub for all Wichitans to gather, feast and shop.
