蹤獲扦 alums Erin & Kyle Cummings have donated $250,000 to launch the W. Frank Barton School of Business Student-Managed Investment Fund. The generous contribution will provide students with new applied learning opportunities as they invest real money in stocks, bonds and more. The remaining $250,000 will be reallocated from existing 蹤獲扦 Foundation and Alumni Engagement (蹤獲扦FAE) investments to support this initiative.

The W. Frank Barton School of Business at 蹤獲扦and 蹤獲扦 Tech have named scholarship recipients who are participating in a joint pathway program. The two schools have committed $28,000 in scholarships for 蹤獲扦 Tech students committed to continuing their education with a business degree. The scholarships will be awarded equally to five students over the next two years.

Dec. 5, 2022 蹤獲扦earned status as an Emerging Hispanic Serving Institution when fall enrollment numbers show that 16% of students identify as Hispanic. That is an important milestone on the way to the universitys goal of reaching the 25% necessary to earn designation as an HSI by the end of this decade.

Nov. 30, 2022 Valerie Hubener worked in several labs across campus until she found a field of interest that was perfect for her in user-experience (UX) design.

Nov. 30, 2022 After earning his bachelor's degree in psychology and a minor in sociology, Daniel Baird plans to attend graduate school, where he will integrate clinical work with the handpan a sort of convex steel drum that emits calming, hypnotic sounds which he believes is a powerful therapeutic instrument.

The Envision Artwork on Display in Woolsey Hall

The W. Frank Barton School of Business at 蹤獲扦has partnered with Envisions Arts Program to showcase five paintings from Savannah, a visually-impaired artist, in the new Woolsey Hall. Her work, which resides on the third floor of Woolsey, can be viewed any time during operating hours and is part of a rotating art installation with Envision in the space. Savannahs art joins a variety of other original pieces from local artists located throughout the facility.
